Farouk Miya is hopeful his club Konyaspor Kulubu will do whatever it takes to please their fans with a better finish in the 2020/21 Turkish Super Lig season.

The Uganda Cranes offensive midfielder further says that their goal in the new season as a team is to make a good start and complete the league without taking the lower ranks on the table throughout the season.

“We have started our new season sessions. I know that we didn’t have good performance last season but to reverse this around, we are together and are working harder this season. We want to please our fans and take a higher position on the league table.” Miya said.

Konyaspor who started preseason training on 10th August, finished 13th on the 18-team Turkish Super Lig table with 36 points, four above the relegation zone.

Miya scored eight goals, made two assists and got booked on four occasions in the 25 league games he played in his first season in Turkey.
