Zirintusa joins Mtibwa of Tanzania

Busoga United attacking midfielder Boban Zirintusa has completed a move to Tanzanian Premier League side Mtibwa Sugar.

Zirintusa has put pen to paper on a one and half year employment contract with the Tanzanian side.

The move sees him return to the side where he played 44 games and netted 16 goals from 2009 to 2013

He joins Joel Madondo who also left the Jinja based side earlier in this transfer window for Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca.

Zirintusa has been Busoga United’s top scorer this campaign with six goals.

He has previously featured at SC Villa, Vipers SC, Buildcon (Zambia), Mohun Bagan (Ethiopia), Polokwane (South Africa) and Tanzania side Simba.

Nicholas Wadada (Azam), Seiri Arigumaho, ( Singida United) and Jackson Kibirige ( Kagera Sugar) are the other Ugandans who ply their trade in Tanzania.

His new home Mtibwa are currently 10th on the Tanzanian Premier league log with 22 points and will next face Azam FC on Wednesday 29th January.
