Milutin Sredojevic ‘Micho’ has finally been unveiled as Zambia’s national team head coach on a two year contract.
Micho fills the void left by Sven Vandenbroeck whose contract was terminated in March last year after an unsuccessful 2019 AFCON qualification campaign.
The 50-year old Serbian has been club-less since leaving Zamalek SC of Egypt last year in December.

His immediate task will be the 2021 AFCON qualification double header (home and away) against neighbors Botswana next month.
He finds Zambia sitting bottom of the Group H with zero points having lost the first two games to Algeria and Zimbabwe.
Micho has previously handled the national teams of Rwanda and Uganda. He is most remembered for guiding Uganda Cranes in the 2017 AFCON final tournament after 39 years of absence.
He has also previously coached SC Villa, St. George, Al Hilal Omdurman, Orlando Pirates, Yanga Africans and most recently Zamalek.
