Vipers Sports Club have offered Frank Zaga Tumwesigye to Express FC on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The youthful midfielder has barely made a mark in the hot and cold half season for the defending Champions managing only two league appearances under the tutelage of Mexican coach Javier Martinez Espinoza.
“Tumwesigye will join the Red Eagles where he is expected to have more playing time and revive his form and if he impresses will return next season.” The club confirmed via their website
Since bursting to the scene from St Mary’s Kitende and the Cubs (Uganda U-17 team) Zaga has been earmarked as one of the best footballing prospects in the country.
Zaga, also a Uganda Hippos starlet is a player blessed with dribbling skills, agility and a remarkable ball distribution ability.
In the same docket, Vipers have also agreed not to renew Aggrey Madoi’s contract which expires this month.
The former JMC Hippos left back has been on the transfer radar of Kenyan outfit Tusker Football club and URA FC in the Uganda premier league.
The Kitende outfit have released five more players on respectively loan deals. The five are Burundian midfielder Thompson Sefu Ndizeye, right back Fred Okot, Davis Kasirye, Dickens Okwir and Kenyan forward Noah Wafula.
Sources reveal that Mbarara City, Paidha Black Angels and Express FC are vying for the services of Dickens Okwir.
