Yunus Sentamu completes return to Vipers

Vipers SC have completed the signing of striker Yunus Sentamu “Manucho”

Sentamu reunites with his former club on a two year employment contract.

Everyone knows the special relationship I have with this club and it has always felt like home to me. My desire to win is still the same and I look forward to the opportunity to help the team achieve.” Sentamu revealed to the club website

The forward has been out of action since leaving KF Tirana in Albania 2019.

Sentamu made his mark while at St.Julian Secondary School during the National Copa Coca-Cola schools football championship.

He later joined St.Mary’s Kitende where he enjoyed remarkable success winning the National Schools title and East African honors before graduating to Vipers SC senior team.

He is remembered for his heroic performances at the 2014 CHAN tournament where he scored three goals for the Uganda Cranes.

Sentamu was also part of the National Team at the 2017 Continental showpiece in Gabon.

Sentamu has previously played at AS Vita in Congo, Tunisian outfit CS Sfaxien, Ilves of Finland and Albania first division side KF Tirana. He also featured for Bulemeezi Ssaza team, helping them to the 2012 Masaza Cup triumph.
