World Cup qualifiers Russia 2018: Cranes resume full training ahead of Egypt tie.

Moses Basena has intensified preparations and training to make his team ready for the FIFA World Cup qualifier against Egypt.

He has also boosted his technical department by introducing Express tactician Matia Lule and Cranes legend Ibrahim Ssekagya to allow Fred Kajoba concentrate more with the goal keeping department.

Most of the locally based players were in attendance and coach Matia Lule joined today morning, Ibrahim Ssekagya and the foreign based players are expected to join in over the weekend. After the morning session, Basena commented on the preparation so far and he said,

” We are grateful that Matia Lule has come in to give a hand in our technical department, he has immense experience from his time from the national under age structures, he has worked with most of the boys here especially those that are breaking in.”

“Ssekagya will not only offer his technical knowledge of the game but he is also a big inspirational figure to many of our up coming players. We are glad he is joining us in this struggle to see Uganda qualify for the big tournaments ahead of us. “

Denis Onyango, Khalid Aucho and the contingent from Zambia are expect to report either today or tomorrow. The last player to arrive will be Kizito Luwagga who is expected to jet in on 30th August early in the morning since he has a game on 28th.

The team will continue training on a double session basis before they will be put together in a residential camp.
