Winger Lwesibawa completes return to Express

Godfrey Lwesibawa has completed a return to Express FC on a two year deal shortly after Wasswa Bbosa was confirmed as their permanent head coach.

Lwesibawa, who nearly signed for Express in the mid-season, is the first of the many recruits expected at Wankulukuku in preparation for the 2020/21 season. 

The right winger played a less part of the closing half of the concluded UPL following non-payment issues at Tooro United.

His reunion with Wasswa Bbosa also implies he returns to a side he played for three seasons until 2017 when he joined SC Villa.

He joined Tooro United at the start of the 2018-19 season after featuring for SC Villa for two seasons.

Lwesibawa was key in Tooro United’s fourth place finish in the 2018-19 season emerging as the club’s second top scorer with five goals and a number of assists on his name.

Express finished 9th on the UPL table with 31 points from the 25 games played.
