West Nile football region releases preliminary fixtures

The games will be played at Barifa Stadium in Arua and Paridi Stadium in Adjumani district

West Nile Region has tentatively released the fixtures for the 2020/21 season with the league expected to kick off on 19th-June-2021.

The games will be played at Barifa Stadium in Arua and Paridi Stadium in Adjumani district with 22 teams taking part.

Nyagak group will be playing at Barifa Stadium and it consists of Alangi Super Mix FC, Alpha Rising Stars, Arua Soccer Academy, Arua City, Hotspring Football Nebbi, Kati United, Mvara Boys, Nebbi Central, Pakwach Super Eagle, Pakwach Young Star and Tiger Stars.

Adjumani Town Council, Araka Football Club, Barakala City, MTC FHL, Koboko Rising Stars, Kochi Urban, Odramacaka Football Club, River View, Tipsah Football Club, Vurra Football Club and Young Tiger make up the Nile group and will play at Paridi Stadium.

The games are expected to climax on 29th-July-2021.

Nile table winners will play against the Nyagak group winners at the end of the season where the winner is crowned the West Nile champion. This play off is slated for 11th-July-2021.

The West Nile champions will later play with Northern region champions in a promotional play off final where the winner automatically joins big league
