Shortly after their victory over Soana, Masavu head coach Alex Gitta has fired a warning to Masavu’s next opponents that his team will fight up to the last day.
Masavu won their first match since the resumption of the league, a result that boosts their fight to beat the drop.
” The struggle is still on if you look into the last four games we lost against SC Villa, Onduparaka, Proline and secured a point against Proline. I believe this is a turning point to us and we are to fight until the last whistle is blown. All we need is keeping the momentum of winning.”
” The players know what is at stake with a mere glance at the table table stand. They habe to play their hearts out knowing we badly need the points to keep us in the race.”
On their next fixture against Vipers.
” Vipers being a title contender and we being in the relegation threat it will not be an easy game but am very optimistic we are to settle at least for a minimum of a point.”
Masavu FC currently lies at the bottom of the log with 23 points collected in 25 games and they will pay a visit to Vipers at St Marys Stadium Kitende on Tuesday 24th April 2018.
