Following their defeat to Police FC, Kirinya Jinja SS tactician Charles Ayiekho has admitted that his team were second best against a team that dominated them for bigger periods of time.
Kirinya Jinja’s captain George Kasonke and Godfrey Akol failed to match against Rahmat Senfuka, Gift Ali, Albert Mugisa and later on Yasin Mugume.
It was against this background that head coach Charles Ayiekho conceded that his team need to wake up and up their game if they are to be counted as serious challengers of the Big boys. He said,
” We hit a dead end especially in the attacking area of midfield because the supply to my strikers was limited”.
“We struggled against a very comfortable team in midfield and we were lucky not to concede more goals on the counter especially in the second period”. We lost to a better side.”
Ayiekho called upon his team to wake up and improve in the areas where they are lacking and get back to winning ways. He added,
” We are going to work on the small mistakes, Good enough our next game is at home to Soana, though playing at home doesn’t guarantee a sure win but we have a good winning streak at home. We hope to put everything right.
Police maintained their unbeaten record at home whereas Kirinya Jinja SS were subjected to their 2nd loss away from home.
