Uganda’s U-20 national team will be tussling out with neighbors South Sudan in the Africa cup Nations qualifiers at Lugogo in the game of the 2 legged encounter.
Uganda’s captain Julius Poloto is optimistic his team will win the encounter declaring they have the intensity and experience needed to go passed the South Sudanese. He said;
“Most of us are starters at our clubs and a good number of the players was part of the team that played in COSAFA last year . So, i think we have the intensity and experience because we have been together for sometime. We are definitely going to win”.
Uganda’s U-20 team played in the COSAFA Youth tournament that took place in Zambia last year as a guest team and finished 4th.
Midfielder Julius Poloto also turns out for Uganda’s giants KCCA FC where he has been part of the team that has played in the CAF competitions.
The return leg of this match will between 20th and 22nd, April, 2018.
