Proline head coach Mujib Kasule couldn’t hide his excitement when his team earned their first win against Soana with a 2:0 margin.
“It was very important for us to win the game after two loses. If we lost this one we were going to lose touch. We managed the game from start to finish we scored the goals and we were able to defend the game”
He however insists that his team have not yet attained the level he expects them to be. He added,
“They are not as good as we want them to be. I am so happy we created more chances and we worked as a team but we are still a work in progress.
He also reserved some praise for Ivan Bukenya,
” His contribution is very important to us, he has been commanding the team and he is also a leader so we keep enjoying every minute with him.”
“At the moment he is with us and we can’t look beyond what is happening now. He has a contract with us but if somebody whats him tomorrow they can have him but at the moment he is a Proline player”.
Proline won their first game of the season after drawing with Onduparaka and losing two consecutive games against Masavu and Police respectively. They will be visiting Vipers sc in their next game when the league resumes after the international break.
