Just hours to the Uganda cup finals as Paidha black Angels tussel it out with Azam premier league champions KCCA at the Betway green light stadium tomorrow in Arua.
KCCA goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan who has been instrumental for the club during the 2016/17 season is ready to face off with Paidha Black Angels.
Ochan who was on the substitute bench in Cranes victory against Cape Verde in the 2019 Afcon qualifier game told Swift sports,
“We have prepared well for the game it won’t be an easy game though we are the favourites and so the pressure is on us and that makes this encounter a bit difficult for us,” says the KCCA custodian.
“They will be playing in their home area thus having a lot of support, but we are used to this kind of situation, We want to make history and become the first KCCA team to win a cup double ever since it was founded in 1963″. He added
Paidha Black Angels join Onduparaka as the second team to come from the northern region to play in the Uganda cup finals in a period of 2 years.
KCCA will play in the final with the trip to Nigeria in mind where they will face-off with Rivers United in the CAF Confederations cup next week.
Paidha Black Angels should not be taken lightly after having eliminated defending champions Vipers at St.Mary’s Kitende in the 1-0 win at the quarter finals
Swift Sports understands that Ochan will start in goal tomorrow in what is expected to be a strong line up to be named by Mike Mutebi.
Match officials will be led by Center referee Denis Batte, assisted by Mark Ssonko and Samuel Kayondo, the 4th official is Alex Muhabi.
