The national U17s men’s team Hamza Lutalo has lauded his team for their excellent performance in the annihilation of neighbors Kenya .
Uganda beat Kenya 5-0 in their opening group A tie to qualify for the semifinals. The Cubs lead group A with 3 points. South Sudan who were guilty of including over age players in the squad were eliminated.

Uganda will next face Ethiopia on Friday in to determine the group winners.

Finalists in this tournament will automatically seal a place at AFCON 2021 to be hosted by Morocco in July. Semifinalists in Morocco will also win a place at the World Cup 2022 in Peru.
