Water FC excluded from 2021/22 Big League fixtures

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) licensing committee has confirmed that 11 teams have successfully submitted the minimum requirements and cleared to take part in the 2021/22 Big League season.

Maroons FC, Nyamityobora, Ndejje University, Proline FC, Kataka FC, Kyetume FC, Luweero United FC, Blacks Power FC, Kitara FC, MYDA FC, Calvary FC and Kitara FC.

Water FC has been excluded after failing to meet the minimum club licensing requirements.

Among the requirements Water FC is yet to submit include the CEO contract, head coach and a minimum of 15 players registered on the FUFA contract.

The club however has a right to appeal the decision to the FUFA Licensing Appeals committee before closure of business tomorrow.

The 2021/22 Big League season will be played in a single group of home and away basis and is expected to kick off on the 12th of November.
