Chippa United beat Pretoria Callies 1-0 in the semifinal of the 2021 Nedbank Cup to secure their first ever Cup final.
Defender Sandile Mthethwa on loan from Orlando Pirates scored the all important goal three minutes after the hour mark in an encounter that was played at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Watenga was on top of his game in the first half as he denied Callies on several occasions.
Callies were the only first division club in the competition and were also seeking for their first ever final.
Chippa found themselves in the semis after edging Free State Stars in the quarterfinals on penalties and extra time win over Cape Town City.
Chippa await the winner between Mamelodi Sundowns and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila with the two teams set to meet on Sunday, April 18.
