URA FC have completed a deal for defender Geoffrey Wasswa.
Swift Sports can reliably confirm that the versatile player has put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the revenue collectors.
Wasswa joins as a free agent after expiration of his short term contract at SC Villa where he played during the second round of last season.
He becomes the first tax collectors first signing of the current transfer window. Wasswa can ably operate as a central midfielder and a central defender.
Wasswa is a former Vipers SC player whom he joined from the Junior team at the start of the 2015/16 season. He is also a product of St.Mary’s Kitende.
At Vipers, he won two league titles and a Uganda Cup winners medal.
URA FC finished second in the just concluded season with 57 points and will represent Uganda at next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
