Wakiso Hill Women FC sign three more players

Wakiso Hill Women FC have intensified preparations for the new season with three more signings.

The three new acquisitions are Josephine Nabagereka, Catherine Nabwami and Sarah Namatovu who is also nicknamed “Titah”

The triple signing brings the number of new players at the club to six after the club unveiled Patricia Nayiga, Diana Nagawa and Sharuwa Namubiru last month.

Catherine Nabwami is a defender formerly of Buloba Royal College and has becoming the best defender in Uganda as her ambition.

Josephine Nabagereka is a forward who can play as a striker and a midfielder as well. Currently in her S4, Nabagereka has previously played for Kawempe Royal College and Bulaga High School.

Upon the unveiling, Nabagereka set her personal target for the forthcoming season as scoring five goals and registering seven assists.

Namatovu “Titah” Sarah acquired from Nateete Muslim secondary school is an offensive midfielder who can as well play as a striker.

The trio will join the rest of the team when the pre-season training kicks off ahead of the 2020/21 FUFA Women Elite League.

Wakiso Hill Women FC will be under coach Swaleh Kamya who will be targeting to earn promotion to the top-flight league of the FUFA Women Super League in the following season.
