Wakiso Hill WFC name squad for FUFA Women Elite League task

Head coach coach Swalleh Kamya will be deputised by Matthew Lumu

Wakiso Hill Women Football Club have named a 16 player squad that will compete in their Women Elite League games.

The team was revealed upon completion of COVID-19 tests at FUFA House in Mengo on Sunday morning.

The team will be under the tutelage of coach Swaleh Kamya who will be deputized by Matthew Lumu.

Wakiso Hill were drawn in Group D of the FUFA Women Elite League and will tussle it out with She Maroons, Echoes High School and former top-flight side Lango Queens.

The Wakiso based outfit will open up their campaign on Tuesday with a morning fixture against Lango Queens.

The two teams in Group D will face off with Amuria High School and Ajax Queens in the quarter finals.

Defenders: Stella Kawala, Jalidah Nagawa, Faridah Namirimu, Shubayiya Namale, Lucy Akello

Midfielders: Faridah Tracy Nanyonjo, Patricia Nayiga, Sarah Namatovu, Faith Namuddu, Justine Birabwa

Strikers: Sylvia Namiwanda, Catherine Tibasiima, Nusulah Nakintu, Jeridah
