Wakiso will be seeking for their fourth straight win at home when they host Kitara FC on Saturday at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.
The Purple Sharks have maximized points in their previous three games at home beating Onduparaka 2-0, Police 3-1 and the 5-1 mauling of UPDF FC.
Kitara on the other hand will be aiming to complete a double over Douglas Bamweyana’s side. They stunned Wakiso in the reverse fixture 3-2 at Kavumba Recreation Grounds.
Wakiso played out to a 1-1 stalemate with Busoga United in their last league fixture while Kitara came from two goals to salvage a point over BUL FC.
The hosts are currently 9th on the Uganda Premier League log with 27 points accumulated in 23 games whereas Kitara who have only registered two wins this term are bottom placed with just 10 points.
The Purple Sharks will be without suspended Hassan Wasswa Dazo who was sent off against Busoga on Tuesday. Yasin Mugume is out with illness while Tom Masiko is sidelined through injury.
Skipper Hassan Ssenyonjo returns from suspension while Lawrence Bukenya is fully fit for this contest.
Anthony Sekitto’s side will look up to Peter Lomoro and Edson Agondeze for a maiden double over Wakiso.
