Wakiso Giants sign former KCCA utility man Moses Aliro

Aliro is a versatile player who can ably as a right fullback, wingback, and attacking right sided midfield and also in ‘goal’.

Uganda Premier league side Wakiso Giants have signed versatile player Moses Aliro on two year contract with an option to extend his stay for another year dependent on his performance.

Aliro was early this month released by KCCA with just a season into his 5 year contract signed last year from Doves FC.

Wakiso Giants confirmed Aliro’s signing on transfer deadline day.

” We are delighted to announce the signing of Moses Aliro Okabo from KCCA FC.

The 25-year old signs a two year contract with the club with an option to extend for a further year.

Aliro is a versatile player who can ably as a right fullback, wingback, and attacking right sided midfield and also in ‘goal’.

The youthful player lauded the move as a perfect opportunity to relaunch his career and vowed to repay Wakiso’s faith.

“It’s a new chapter in my career and I want to help the club win. It’s a new challenge but I hope my little experience from playing at KCCA will be key.”

Wakiso Giants have in this window signed midfielder Titus Sematimba, Sharif Kimbowa from Busoga United and also extended the loan stay for Proline striker Ivan Bogere.
