Wakiso Giants, Proline held as Kireka United begin with a comprehensive victory

Kabale Sharp needed a late penalty to secure a point from debutants Doves FC at Kabale Municipal Grounds.

Ronald Kyamagwa had put Doves FC in the lead as Fred Kalanzi had to convert from the spot to level matters for Vialli Binomugisha’s side.

Patrick Asiku’s goal was enough to maximise the points for JMC Hippos in their 1-0 win over Bukedea TC at Emokori Grounds.

Wakiso Giants kicked off their campaign with a hard fought for draw at Lira Primary School Grounds.

Bronson Nsubuga and James scored for Amuka Bright Stars as Abdul Karim Kasule and Clinton Kamugisha scored for the guests.

UPDF FC coached by Bogere and Entebbe FC ( former Masavu FC ) played to a barren stalemate. The two were relegated from the Uganda Premier League in the 2017-2018 season.
