Wakiso Giants, Kitara and Proline FC in search for first wins on big league match day 2


The FUFA big League is back with nine fixtures on matchday two.

Debutants Doves FC host Kitara FC at Katushabe Doves Grounds in the Kitara derby as both teams are yet to taste victory.

Alex Kitata, George Senkaba and Dudu Ramathan are the men to inspire Sam Kawalya’s side to a positive result away from home.


Wakiso Giants visits visits JMC hippos at Bugembe Stadium with a target of maximising the points having played to a 2-2 stalemate in their opening fixture against Amuka Bright Stars at Lira Grounds.

JMC will be targeting their second win after defeating Bukedea TC 1-0 courtesy of Patrick Asiku’s lone goal.

Steven Bogere’s UPDF FC makes a long trip to Green Light Stadium Arua against Dove all Stars both teams targeting their first win.

Dove all Stars and UPDF both played to barren stalemates against Kataka FC and Entebbe FC respectively.

Ntinda United who disappointingly lost 3-0 to Kireka United in their opener, visit Proline FC at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo who played to a barren stalemate away against Kitara FC at Kigaya Grounds Hoima.

Brian Anukani, Ivan Wammanah and Ivan Bogere are the men to watch as Shafik Bisaso’s side looks for a positive result.

At Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku Entebbe FC ( former Masavu) will be hosting Light SS having played to a barren stalemate on matchday one targeting maximum points.

Kabonge’s prime target is helping Entebbe FC bouncing back to the top tier.

Kira United to host Kabale Sharp at Mandela National Staduim Namboole (outside) Vialli Binomugisha’s Kabale Sharp played to a 1-1 stalemate against debutants Doves FC

Kira United and Kabale Sharp are in search of the first win, Kira United lost to Kansai Plascon on matchday one at Bishops Grounds Mukono.

Kyetume FC to play Amuka Bright Stars in their first game of the season at Lira Grounds.

Kyetume FC lost in the FUFA big League playoffs to Paidha Black Angels 3-0 under Livingston Mbabazi so Alex Isabirye came with a
task of guiding the team to top tier.

Without any injury concerns debutants Kiboga Young FC visit Bumate United in Bundibugyo looking for the second win on matchday two.

Peter Lomolo scored the only goal as Kiboga Young was defeating Water FC home on matchday one.
