In the lunch time kick off, Police FC will host Wakiso Giants at the Philip Omondi stadium Lugogo.

It is the second leg of the quarter final tie between the two Uganda Premier league sides that are vying to join BUL FC and Vipers SC in the semifinals.

Abdallah Mubiru and his team did the most of their work in the first leg at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium when they beat Wakiso 3-1 to carry home a close unsafe advantage.

The Purple Sharks have to score 3 unanswered goals to overturn the tie. The tie will also be seperated by penalties in case the visitors win by an identical score of that in the first leg 6 days ago.

The two sides have met 3 times already this season with each side winning once. The first round league meeting at Lugogo ended in a goalless stalemate.

Team news:

The Cops will have to negotiate the match without the injured injured striker Johnson Odong who aggravated his injury in the trip to URA in the league.

They have been boosted by the return to fitness of Frank Tumwesigye, Tonny Kiwalazi and Henry Katongole.

Wakiso Giants are buoyed by the return of U20 striker Ivan Bogere who has missed close to 4 league games.

Captain Hassan Senyonjo and striker Kipson Atuheire have been ruled out through injury.
