Wakiso Giants ascend to the top as Kitara gets off the mark

After a poor start to the season, Kitara FC finally tasted victory for the first time in the new term with a commanding 2-0 win over Water FC.

Goals from Benon Baluku and George Ssenkaba in each half of the game (20th and 73rd) minutes respectively ensured Kitara FC leave Wankulukuku with 3 points in the bag.

Daff Luboobi scored the only goal in the 25th minute against Bukedea TC to give Wakiso Giants their second consecutive win of the season to ascend to the top of the Elgon Group.
