VIPERS Vs BUL: Two wounded sides battle to return to winning ways

Vipers SC will be aiming to return to winning ways when they host BUL FC on Saturday at St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

The Kitende outfit come into this game after a shock defeat at Arua Hill earlier this week while BUL FC lost 4-3 to Wakiso Giants.

The Venoms are currently second on the Uganda Premier League log with 29 points whereas BUL are fourth on 24 points

“We are playing a decent side having been watching the highlights of their previous game, they are a good side but we have prepared well. Last time the opponent got only one chance and we lost the game, so we have to concentrate in this game.”

“We are expecting a tough battle with Vipers tomorrow but we have prepared very well, we lost points against Wakiso Giants but now its time to recover the lost points.”

Team News

Vipers will be without Bobosi Byaruhanga through injury while Livingstone Mulondo is suspended. They will heavily rely on the attacking prowess of Yunus Sentamu and Ceasar Manzoki.

BUL will only be without suspended Douglas Muganga. In form Musa Esenu with eight goals this campaign will be taking on his former paymasters.

This will be the 21 meeting between the two sides, Vipers have managed 13 wins, BUL two and five have ended in stalemates.

The last time they both faced off, Vipers shred BUL FC 8-1 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup final at the FUFA Technical centre in Njeru last year.
