Vipers go into tomorrow’s game against Onduparaka at St Mary’s stadium with a few injury concerns, with Shafiq Bakaki and Moses Waiswa injured,Vipers still look focused to seek their revenge against the green Army.
After Sunday’s training, Vipers’ coach Jorge Da Costa revealed that Moses Waiswa has not recovered from a back injury, he suffered during the club’s memorable 2-1 win over Kcca at Philip Omondi last month and may miss the rest of the season. “Waiswa is out until further notice and we wish him a nice recovery”, said the portuguese tactian.
Brian Nkuubi is expected to replace Waiswa,after a great display in last week’s draw against Bright stars.Mike Sserumaga may also earn a starting place after his return from the knee injury last week.
Vipers will play the rest of the remaining games without Frank Tumwesigye ‘Zaga, Asiku Bashir’ and Pius Wangi who are taking part in the national Secondary Schools’ football competitions in Masaka.
