Vipers SC set to unveil Nigerian striker

Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC are set to unveil Nigerian forward Abubaker Lawal from Rwanda side AS Kigali.

The Nigerian agreed terms with the five time Uganda Premier league champions on a two year employment contract.

Lawal is expected to replace Central African Republic striker Cesar Manzoki who is likely to leave the Venoms for greener pastures.

Lawal has spent two seasons at AS Kigali and scoring 8 goals for the side across all competitions during last campaign. He also managed 10 assists for the side.

He is also a former Pillars Nasarawa United player.

Vipers have already confirmed the signing of midfielder Marvin Joseph Youngman and left back Isa Mubiru from Solitilo Bright Stars and UPDF FC respectively.
