For the past fortnight, Kiiza has been on the transfer radar for URA FC as a prime solution for their goal scoring woes but didn’t strike the ultimate agreement since then.
Kiiza is a free agent following the end of his brief stint with Ethiopian Premier League side Fesil Kenema.
The 2011-12 golden boot winner is expected to add up to the Vipers’ elbow-to-elbow attacking options that have blown hot and cold this season.
Diego Kiiza has in the past featured for Nalubaale FC, URA FC, Tanzania’s Yanga Africans and Simba SC, Free State Stars in South Africa and Al Hilal El Obeid of Sudan.
He has been an active member of the national senior team The Cranes since 2011 making 26 appearances and netting 11 times.
