Vipers SC have completed the signing of Congolese forward Cesar Manzoki Lobi on a two year deal.
Manzoki agreed terms with the Venoms last week before his ITC finally arrived to complete his move.
His is a former player at AS Vita and Dauphin Noir (all in DR Congo).
“I am so happy to be here,” exclaimed Manzoki after his paperwork was given the greenlight. “I want to use this chance well. My dream is to become an important player for Vipers. I hope I can become a starter immediately and hope win some trophies with my new team. I hope I can push my career further. My goals are that simple.”
Manzoki told Vipers official website.
“I don’t regret this move because it took me time to make this decision to move here. I chose the best team out of the many clubs that were after me and I am proud of it.” He added.
Manzoki is expected to play a key role in Vipers’ campaign in the Uganda Premier League title as well as the CAF Champions League.
He becomes the first Congolese player to play for Vipers since striker Clovis Mbayi Mousa during the 2017-18 season.
