Vipers sail to a commanding 3-0 Victory over Proline

Vipers SC will go into the mid season break at the back of an inspirational 3-0 victory over Proline FC

Midfielder Tadeo Lwanga opened the scoring on the 35th minute when he met a delightful corner kick from Moses Waiswa. Lwanga’s first goal in Vipers’ colours was enough to send the game into the halftime break with the hosts in the lead.

Duncan Seninde extended Vipers lead on 56 minutes when he pounced a Saidi Keni’s failure to clear the ball off his line. It was also his first strike of the season.

Vipers made their first change of the game by introducing the pacy and powerful Baden Mujahid for Duncan Seninde on the 64th minute.

10 minutes later, Tom Masiko also came on for striker Erisa Sekisambu with a motive of consolidating the win.

Vipers instead extended their lead courtesy of Brian Nkuubi Semakula is enjoying a rich vein of form. Nkuubi also headed in another perfect corner delivery by Moses Waiswa.

Vipers final substitution Was the introduction of Ashraf Mandela for Brian Nkuubi.

The win puts them back on course for the title challenge, they are now on 26 points in 3rd, 3 points behind KCCA and 6 behind leaders SC Villa.

The result rings desperate times for Proline who are now 14 on the log, only 3 points above Masavu who are 15th.
