Vipers SC have agreed a deal to sign Mbarara City striker Brian Aheebwa Swift Sports understands

Aheebwa had made his desire to join Mike Mutebi’s side, but KCCA FC have been dithering over the player’s sign on fees.

That’s been music to the ears of Fred Kajoba as it means that the Uganda Premier League champions are now in pole position to pinch what would be a huge signing from under KCCA FC’s noses.

Aheebwa is a free agent following expiration of his employment contract at Mbabara City.

The forward has established himself as one of the most exciting players in the Uganda Premier league. In the just concluded season, he netted 8 league goals.

Aheebwa, a former Nyamityobora striker, is Mbarara City’s all time leading scorer and was instrumental in the club’s promotion to the topflight

The Kitende based side have already signed left back Disan Galiwango from Express FC.
