Vipers extend dominance over Onduparaka to keep tabs on KCCA

DANIEL NSUBUGA

Defending champions Vipers SC have cruised to a convincing 3-0 victory over Onduparaka FC.

They remain the only unbeaten side in the league after URA’s fall to KCCA FC at Namboole.

Second half goals from Geoffrey Wasswa, Livingstone Mulondo and Daniel Mzee Sserunkuuma confirmed that Vipers extend their dominance over the West Nile club.

The two have now faced off 5 times in the league but Vipers boast of 3 wins, 1 draw and Onduparaka only managed one win.

Today’s victory also is of great importance being the first for newly appointed interim coach Michael Ouma.

Vipers SC trail leaders KCCA by 7 points but they have 2 games in hand.

Onduparaka slip to the 4th place on 24 points, though they will forfeit the position if BUL manage to beat Nyamityobora on Thursday in Jinja.
