Kefa Kisala’s BUL FC is on the verge of completing the loan deals for Vipers SC duo of Brian Kakaire and Ibrahim Kayiwa.
Kayiwa joined Vipers from Express Fc during the transfer window of 2015 but he has not enjoyed his stay at the Kitende based side due to stiff competition in his area of specialisation, he was limited to cameo appearances last season especially during the 2nd half after the appointment of new manager Miguel Da Costa. He has been pushed further at the exit door following the recruitment of the more dynamic and aggressive midfielders in Taddeo Lwanga and Tom Masiko
Counter part Brian Kakaire has also blown hot and cold since his move to from Swedish side Voxjo. The Kampala Junior team graduate sustained a nagging knee injury which kept him on the sidelines and affected his contribution to the team. He has been at the Kitende based club for only one season.
Many thought that he was the right man to replace Farouk Miya at the club but things have not gone his way.
Kakaire and Kayiwa are among the ten 10 players leaving Vipers to get more playing time at different clubs who among others are Ssemujju John, Aggrey Madoi, Musa Esenu, Mutanda Bashir, Alfred Leku, Nyakojjo Benjamin, Nasir Mbabali and Alex Komakech.
The possible signing of the duo will not only help them acquire the much needed playing time but also offer an improved touch of quality to BUL FC in their armoury for the 2017/18 season.
