Vipers confirm Ndugwa and Ssekagya departure

Vipers SC have officially confirmed the midfielder Abraham Ndugwa and goalkeeper Bashir Sekajja will not be their players next season.

Ndugwa joined the Kitende based side at the start of the 2018/19 season from Masavu FC.

He has been the club’s vice captain for the last two season. Ndugwa made 41 appearances for the four time Uganda Premier League side and scored 10 goals, winning one Uganda Premier League and the FUFA Pilsner Super 8 trophy.

Meanwhile, goalie Ssekagya also joined the club at the start of the 2018/19 season from UPDF FC on a three year employment contract.

During his time at the club, he has had limited playing time with the club considering Fabien Mutombora as their number one.

He was loaned to Proline FC during the 2019/20 campaign.

Vipers finished third with 56 points, two below champions Express FC in the just concluded season.
