Vipers SC will be seeking for back to back wins as they host Wakiso Giants on Friday afternoon at the St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

Wakiso on the other hand will be aiming for their maiden victory over the Venoms and their first win of the new campaign.

The Venoms cruised past Police FC 2-0 in their opening game at the MTN Omondi Stadium whereas the Purple Sharks suffered a 3-0 home defeat to KCCA FC.

This will be the fifth meeting between the two sides, Vipers have managed one win with the other three games ending in stalemates.

Wakiso head coach Douglas Bamweyana says that his charges are well prepared for the contest

“We treat all games the same way. For us we believe in ourselves and we have prepared well and we are looking forward for the game.”

In our last game, our biggest disappointments was ourself not exactly the opponent and I think the score line flatters them. We had chances but failed to take them.”

Bamweyana revealed via the club website.

The home side will welcome back the skipper Halid Lwaliwa and talisman Yunus Sentamu.

Pius Kaggwa, Hassan Wasswa Dazo, Grant Matsiko will be out on the visitors side but the good news is Titus Ssematimba and forward Shariph Kimbowa are fit to make their debuts.
