A Viane Sekajugo brace and an opening goal from Ceaser Okhuti ensured Onduparaka pick their first away victory against Kirinya JSS in remarkable style.
Onduparaka could have gone ahead through defender Hassan Muhamood whose free kick was parried away by Kirinya JSS goalkeeper Didi Muhammad in the 18th minute.
7 minutes later, Okhuti put the caterpillars ahead from another Hassan Muhamood free kick.
Viane Sekajugo doubled the lead finishing off from a Solomon Okwalinga pass 5 minutes past the half hour mark.
Come into the second half, the combination of Okhuti and Sekajugo nearly made it 3-0 only to be denied by Didi Muhammad.
Sekajugo completed his brace after another wonderful combined attack in the 65th minute.
The pint sized attacker would have bagged a hat trick with a header but his strike was cancelled for offside by referee Emmanuel Kiwewa in the 74th minute.
Kirinya’s Godfrey Akol and Isma Kawawulo together with Onduparaka’s Richard Ayiko and Sekajugo himself were the players cautioned in the contest. Simeon Masaba was also given matching orders by the referee.
Victory propels Asaph Mwebaze men to the second place with 9 points while Kirinya slips to the 9th position after succumbing to their first defeat of the season.
Onduparaka will play hosts to Bright Stars in their next game on Tuesday 30th October while Kirinya will host Vipers on the same date.
