URA’s Nyakoojo hails “amazing coach” Sam Ssimbwa for impressive form

Benjamin Nyakoojo has termed his head coach Sam Ssimbwa as “amazing” for shaping him into a top defender at URA FC.

Nyakoojo has been immense at the heart of defence for the Tax Collectors during the second part of the season.

“I thank my head coach Sam Ssimbwa who has played a tremendous role in making me a better player since I joined URA FC from Vipers SC. He is a great person and to me it’s a great opportunity to work with such an amazing coach.” The lanky defender opened up on his spell at URA.

Nyakoojo joined the Revenue collectors from Vipers SC at the start of the 2018/19 season in pursuit for playing time and has since then turned into a regular in Ssimbwa’s selection.

The rock solid defender says that determination and hard work have been key towards his form at URA FC.

“I work hard every single day to see that I improve on my performances. I am also a determined and focused person.”

“It’s really sad that the world is facing this deadliest pandemic that has seen various families globally lose their beloved ones. Personally during this horrible status, I do some aerobics to keep fit.”

With only five games to the end of the current campaign, URA FC are fifth on the Uganda Premier League log with 40 points.

They are also have a round of 16 Stanbic Uganda Cup contest against Wakiso Giants at a date yet to be communicated following closure of business due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
