URA, Tooro United share spoils in barren encounter

URA played to yet another barren draw with Tooro United at Mandela National Stadium Namboole.

The result brings URA’s draw tally to seven this season and the sixth on succession.

As anticipated, It was a game of limited chances with both sides hardly exhibiting any clear goal scoring intent.

Tooro United’s Allan Kayiwa and Shafik Kagimu of URA FC tried finding a breakthrough on either ends but their efforts were not that good enough.

Wasswa Bbosa’s coached men have now played to four draws as their winless streak continues having only won once.

The tax collectors have only managed to score four goals but remain unbeaten and 8th placed with 13 points while Tooro United is 12th with 7 points.

Peter Lwasa and Joackim Ojera of URA were cautioned in the 32nd and 59th minutes respectively while Paddy Muhumuza was the only player of Tooro United booked in the 44th minute.

Both teams will be back in action on Saturday 8th- December as URA will be paying a visit to Mbarara City at Kakyeka while Tooro United welcomes Nyamityobora FC at Buhinga grounds.
