URA to represent Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup

URA Football Club will represent Uganda at the Confederation Cup after a decision taken by the FUFA Emergency Executive committee on Tuesday that the article 18 section 1 sub section C&D of the competitions rules be evoked.

The revenue collectors were second on the Uganda Premier League log with 57 points in 26 games at the time the lockdown was imposed.

For starters, the Federation made the same decision last season when they confirmed KCCA FC who were runners to eventual winners Vipers as Uganda’s representatives at CAF’s second tier club competition.

Meanwhile, Express FC were declared Uganda Premier league champions for the seventh time in the club’s history.

The Red Eagles were at the summit of the UPL log with 58 points in 26 games they had played will now represent Uganda at the CAF Champions League next season.
