Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club have officially announced the signing of central defender Simon Baligeya.
The youngster becomes the revenue collectors first signing of the current transfer window.
Baligeya put pen to paper on a three year employment contract with URA FC
“I am very happy to be here, it’s honestly not that easy. Over the years, people have been accustomed to the mentality that URA only fancies experienced players.” My move here has proved otherwise and I believe it is going to be exemplary and encouraging for other younger players.”

Baligeya revealed via the club website.
The youngster was part of the Uganda U20 team that finished as runners up to Ghana in the recently concluded AFCON U20 tournament held in Mauritania.
He also excelled at the Copa Coca-Cola Secondary schools tournament featuring for Standard High Zzana in 2015/16, Bulo Parents from 2017/18 and Kibuli SS in 2019.
