SINAN RAJUB SENOGA
URA FC vs Express FC
Date: Tuesday 26th March
Venue: Mandela National Stadium, Namboole
Kick off: 4:00pm
URA FC will pursue for their first victory over Express in eight league games when the two sides face off on Tuesday at Namboole.
19th May 2015 was the day the tax collectors last beat Express and have since then drawn on five occasions and lost the other two games.
Express will be playing their first game in a fortnight since defeating BUL FC 1-0 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter final at Wankulukuku.
URA missed out a chance to go third on the table after playing out a one-all draw against BUL in their most recent league game played last week at Namboole.
The tax collectors are fourth on the log with 39 points garnered from 23 games. Express are distant 11th with 29 points.
Both sides shared spoils in a dull encounter when they faced off in the first round last October at Wankulukuku.
George Ssimwogerere will be without striker Eric Kambale whose hamstring injury aggravated while on-loan midfielder Frank Zaga Tumwesigye is doubtful and will wait for a late fitness test.
Sam Ssimbwa comes into this game without a recognized central defender. Allan Mugalu has been ruled out for the season remainder while Benjamin Nyakojo is still nursing the injury he sustained in Paidha.
Paul Patrick Mboowa is suspended after accumulating three yellow cards.
Shafik Kagimu is also doubtful to feature and will wait for a late confirmation.
Cromwell Rwothomio, Peter Lwasa and the crafty Moses Seruyidde will be expected to lift Ssimbwa’s charges should Kagimu fail to pass the fitness test.
Striker Brian Umony, goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga and pony-tailed defender Johnny Revita will be the players to look up to for the Red Eagles.
Victory can take URA to the third place dislodging Mbarara City whereas Express can move to the ninth position if they emerge victorious at Namboole.
