URA FC stun Bright Stars to end win less streak

URA FC ended a run of 7 draws with a 2-0 victory over Bright Stars at Champions Stadium in Mwerwere.

Robert Omunuk put the visitors into the lead on the half an hour mark to send the traveling fans into jubilation. At halftime time breather, the two sides were separated by a Omunuk goal.

Bright Stars came back strong looking for the leveller but couldn’t breakdown a resilient URA FC defence.

With the clock ticking, the tax collectors doubled their lead through Charles Sempa beating Bright Stars custodian Hamza Muwonge.

URA FC remain unbeaten in this season and are now in 8th place with 17 points whereas Bright Stars are now 5th on the log with 19 points.
