URA FC seek to end winless streak as they host revamped Police FC

URA FC vs Police FC
Saturday, 24th November
Mandela National Stadium, Namboole
Kick off : 4:00pm

Sam Ssimbwa’s URA FC will aim at putting a halt on their four match drawing streak when they host a rejuvenated Police FC side at Namboole on Saturday.

Despite being unbeaten after 7 games, the tax collectors are among the three low scoring teams in the league having managed 4 goals only to sit 8th on the table.

Their visitors Police FC have won three of their last four games despite having had a poor start to the season.

The tax collectors have been the dominant side in the last 16 meetings between the two sides managing 9 wins and 5 draws. Police have only won on two occasions including last season’s 2-1 at Namboole.

Ssimbwa’s men have the meanest defense in the league having only conceded one goal so far but Police have not failed to find the back of the net in all the league games this season.

Shafik Kagimu, Moses Seruyidde, Peter Lwasa and Vitalis Tabu will be expected to inspire URA in quest for their third win of the season.

Juma Balinya, Ben Ocen, Paul Willa and Ashraf Mugume are the key men for the Abdallah Mubiru’s coached side coming into this game.

URA is 8th placed with 11 points while Police FC is 9th having collected 10 points. A win for either side can propel them to at least two slots higher.
