URA FC have officially unveiled left back Derrick Ndahiro who signed a three-year contract from SC Villa.
Ndahiro, who is one of the best left backs in the league, played three solid seasons with SC Villa.
The 20 year old started his football career in 2017 with Kamwokya side Riverside Forest Park FC before moving to SC Villa in 2018.
“I am quite happy to be here at URA FC. The club is one of the best in the country and I am looking forward to playing at the top level and improving my game while here.” Ndahiro told URA FC Media.
He becomes the second player to be unveiled by the Tax Collectors after Hippos defender Simon Baligeya.
URA have already signed goalkeeper James Alitho, Onduparaka forward Kabon Living and Andrew Okiring.
Ndahiro is the direct replacement of Brian Majwega who joined KCCA and he is expected to vie for the club’s left back position with Arafat Galiwango.
URA will represent Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup. They are temporarily under coach Simeon Masaba following the departure of Sam Ssimbwa.
