URA FC confirm Nunda as their first signing

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club have unveiled former KCCA FC midfielder Jackson Nunda as their first signing.

He has signed an employment contract that will keep him at URA for the next three years.

At his unveiling, Nunda asserted that he chose to join URA for their competitiveness and ambitious plans.

“I chose URA because it’s an ambitious team and I love the competitiveness in the club.”

“Of course, I don’t expect it to be a walk in the park as I have to compete for a place in the team.”

The stylish midfielder has been a free agent after the expiration of his employment contract at the end of the recently concluded season and not renewed.

Nunda at KCCA FC managed three Uganda Premier League and two Uganda Cup medals. He also won The FUFA Super Cup and The CECAFA Club championship among others.

He has previously played for Kamwokya United and the record champions SC Villa.

URA FC finished fifth in the 2019-20 season with 40 points when the Uganda Premier League was called off abruptly due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
