Uganda Premier League side URA FC have officially unveiled forward Steven Mukwala Dese.
Mukwala joins the four time Uganda Premier league champions as a free agent after expiration of his employment contract at Vipers SC. He has put pen to paper on a two year deal with the revenue collectors.
“URA FC is a big club and I feel so delighted and proud to be part of it. They are an organized team with a playing style that matches mine,” Mukwala told URA FC.
“I definitely hope to score more goals here than I scored at Maroons. URA has very good creative attacking midfielders who I think working together, I will be able to convert the goals.”
Last season, Mukwala finished as the top scorer with 13 goals while featuring for Maroons Football club, on loan from Vipers SC.
Comig to the 2020/21 season, URA FC has also lured on board goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo, Arafat Galiwango, Davis Ssali, Brian Nkuubi and Jackson Nunda.
Coming to the 2020-21 season, URA has also lured on board goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo from Maroons, among other players.
The tax collectors have won four Uganda Premier League titles in 2006, 2006–07, 2008–09 and 2010–11.
