MATCH: URA FC Vs Police FC
VENUE: Arena of Visions Ndejje
DATE: 30th, November, 2021
URA FC will target registering back to back win when they host Police FC at the Arena of Visions stadium in Ndejje.
The Cops are lagging in the red zone with a single point acquired from 7 games. Infact, they sit bottom of a 16 team log.
Out of the seven games, Abdallah Mubiru’s men have only managed one point from a draw against Mbarara City in their most recent fixture.
The Tax collectors are fresh from tormenting Vipers SC in their own backyard with a 2-0 win in their previous game.
Coming into this one, URA FC are on 10 points accumulated from 5 games and are currently occupying the 7th position.
HEAD TO HEAD:
The most recent five meetings between these two sides have seen URA FC win four times and Police FC winning once.
Last season, the Tax collectors emerged victorious on both occasions.
They played to a 2-0 win in the first leg before completing a double with 3-1 in the return leg.
Police FC head coach Abdallah Mubiru will be serving his second match game on suspension after missing the previous one against Mbarara City. The head coach was shown red in the game against Onduparaka FC.
Assistant coach John Luyinda will once again be in the dugout for the Cops.
Defender Hassan Mohamood who remained on the sidelines against Mbarara City due to injury will return but he will need to pass the late fitness test.
Yusuf Ssozi will also be serving his second game on suspension.
For URA FC, head coach Sam Timbe is still off on a sick leave. His assistant Simeon Masaba will be on the touchline.
They also have a full squad available for selection save for long term absentees in goalkeeper Nafian Alionzi and Jackson Nunda.
Left back Derrick Ndahiro returns after missing the Vipers encounter due to injury.
MEN TO WATCH:
URA FC’s forwards Steven Mukwala and Cromwell Rwothomio have been so inspirational everytime the team wins and will be expected to be key in this one.
Mukwala scored four goals against Tooro United recently and was very instrumental as they defeated Vipers SC. He made the assist for the first goal scored by Joachim Ojera.
Rwothomio scored the other goal in Kitende to double the visitors’ tally on the evening.
Experienced skipper Tonny Mawejje and Johnson Odong will be expected to shine for the Cops.
A win for the Tax collectors will take them to 13 points and could seen them displace Vipers SC from the third place while maximum points for the Cops will take them to four points and could see them move one place ahead.
