URA FC continued with their transfer business by unveiling youthful custodian Samuel Mwaka as their ninth signing.
” URA Football Club is delighted to confirm the signing of Mwaka Samuel.” The club confirmed
Mwaka signed a five-year contract that will keep him a tax collector until 2024 unless otherwise.
The 22-year old custodian has been a starring figure in this year’s Masaza Cup tournament with Kyadondo.
Mwaka joins new faces at the club that include; Ivan Sserubiri, Brian Majwega, Hassan Kalega Gaata, Ivan Ntege, Anwar Ntege, Mikidad Senyonga, Ashraf Mandela and John Ssemazzi.
URA will be seeking to win their first league title since 2013 after finishing third on last season’s table.
The Sam Ssimbwa coached side will open their 2019-20 campaign with a Super 8 fixture against Mbarara City on 4th August at Kakyeka stadium.
