Fresh from a convincing 2-0 win over KCCA, URA FC will hope to keep their title intentions alive when they host BUL FC at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje.

The tax collectors are joint top of the table with Vipers on 39 points but have an inferior goal difference.

Their opponents BUL FC are 10th on the table with 21 points collected from the 17 games played so far.

The past 19 meetings between the two sides have seen URA register 9 wins and eight draws. The other two have ended in BUL’s favour.

The reverse fixture ended 2-0 in favour of Sam Ssimbwa’s men last December thanks to a late brace from Steven Dese Mukwala.

Mukwala alongside Shafik Kagimu, Joackiam Ojera and Cromwell Rwothomio will be Ssimbwa’s go-to men as they aim to complete a double over BUL FC.

Benjamin Nyakoojo is back in the team after missing the last game against KCCA and will be expected to start while Moses Sseruyidde will miss after going off injured in the last game.

BUL FC coach Arthur Kyesimira says he will bank on the former URA players he has in his squad. These include Robert Mukonghotya, Richard Wandyaka, Jimmy Kulaba and Anwar Ntege who are fit and expected to play.

” We have five ex-URA players so they will give us that needed impetus. We have players who are coming from injury. Ssemujju (Joseph) and Semakula (Kenneth) have come through in the last game. We hope to have a good game.”

Kyesimira said in post match interview

” We know very well that we are not in good terms on the table standings and we hope to resurge tomorrow so that we can start our nice run.”

BUL were held to a 1-1 draw by Kyetume in their last game.
